Brimming with the richness of multiple "Brasils," this immersive experience delves into the country hosting this year's G20 summit. The initiative, a collaboration between the Brazilian Agency for International Tourism Promotion (Agência Brasileira de Promoção Internacional do Turismo/Embratur) and the Presidency’s Social Communications Secretariat (Secretaria de Comunicação Social da Presidência da República/Secom/PR), extends a warm welcome to international delegations attending the forum, which convenes the world's foremost economies.

Renowned for samba and soccer, Brasil is much more than its iconic symbols. As representatives from five continents arrive in different states of the G20 host country, they are introduced to Brasil's diversity. It is the Brasil that savors acarajé and relishes feijão tropeiro. The Brasil that dances frevo and grooves to funk. From the urban landscapes to the Amazon rainforest, from the regional dialects of "uai," "bah," to "égua," Brasil encompasses myriad identities that together form a continental country steeped in ancestral culture.

Throughout the working group meetings, delegates are encouraged to immerse themselves in cultural experiences that engage all five senses, including music, dance, ambiance, and gastronomy. Commencing in Brasilia, the federal capital, these events will span across Brazilian states, comprising a total of 30 meetings by the conclusion of Brasil's G20 presidency term.

“The delegations arriving in Brasil have a comprehensive itinerary of meetings scheduled across various states. These initiatives aim to provide them with an enriching experience of Brasil, allowing them to encounter our diversity, culture, gastronomy, and natural wonders," stated Embratur President Marcelo Freixo.

Brazilian popular music (Música Popular Brasileira/MPB), forró, chorinho, and samba artists take the stage as traditional and reinvented delicacies are served. From classic "humble" cheese breads and chicken coxinhas to inventive brigadeiro sweets made with baru nuts from the Cerrado savanna, and dishes featuring pirarucu, a freshwater fish from the Amazon, the activation project prioritizes sustainability, supports local family farmers, and celebrates authentic cuisine while fostering collaboration with local economies.

Beyond providing delegates a space for relaxation and socialization, the initiative aims to showcase Brasil's cultural, social, and regional diversity to global authorities whose visits often remain confined to the airport-hotel-meeting room circuit, offering limited opportunities for genuine country immersion. This strategic endeavor seeks to invite the world into Brasil, allowing visitors to absorb its experiences and then share them with the global community.

Embratur and Secom/PR collaborate with state and municipal Culture and Tourism departments, as well as relevant ministries proposing meetings, to craft comprehensive itineraries comprising the activation agenda. This collaborative effort ensures that each itinerary reflects the diverse cultural and touristic offerings of Brasil's states and municipalities.
