BHEST

Brazilian Helicopter Safety Team (BHEST) is a committee composed of representatives of civil aviation services providers (PSAC) and other organizations that have the capacity to propose and promote improvements in activities involving helicopters. The committee counts on professionals dedicated to improving safety in civil aviation in Brazil.

BHEST’s structure is composed of:

• President – Reynaldo Ribeiro 
• Vicepresident - Eduardo Beni

• Coordination and Executive Secretary – ANAC’s Safety Advisory Office (ASSOP)

The BHEST has the following working groups:

• SMS Promotion, Implementation and Improvement – Coordinator Robson Vieira (Convoo Consultoria Aeronáutica)
• ERP - Emergency Response Plan – Coordinator Eduardo Beni (Associação Brasileira de Operações Aeromédicas - ABOA)
• Helicopter Accident/Incident Analysis - Coordinator: Audir Assunção (Anac/SAR)
• IFR and Safety Enhancements for Twin-Engine Helicopters - Coordinator: Felipe Koeller (OMNI)
